My creative process is a form of meditation—a way of exhaling emotion through the human form. Each piece is part of a shifting mood, swinging along the edge of formula and impulsivity, listening to the sensation of feeling "lost" as a powerful guide in the winding nature of exploration.
On one side is a steady draw towards reassurance with what the thinking mind is able to measure and predict. On the other is the vertigo-inducing practice of letting go completely—trust-falling into our blind-spots to reveal a space of immense emotion and intuition—an undercurrent of spontaneous insight that is always witnessing, ready to dance with us up here on the surface.

Cameron graduated with a masters in painting from the New York Academy of Art and taught at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston while running his own figure drawing workshops.
He now lives and creates in the Pacific Northwest.
